Why: It's fun and unique! Many marijuana events focus mostly on indulging and skip over the more magical and shamanic aspects of cannabis, but with the Ganjasana, you get the best of both worlds.
The Cannazaar is a marijuana event that blends the fun of an outdoor festival with the intrigue and mystery of performance art, theatrics, and more. My420 tours roll out the party buses where you can indulge in vaping or edibles, and each cannabis tour bus is equipped with a different theme and style of music. The Cannazaar includes food vendors, shopping, and plenty of live entertainment. Tickets are free, but donations are welcome to benefit Denver Norml.

Hosted by the Salt Creek Hemp Company, Hemp on the Slope is an event that celebrates the usefulness and benefits of industrial hemp for construction, manufacturing, clothing, fuel, food, and other uses. Featuring special guest speakers, workshops, exhibitors and vendors, live music, and more, this community event in western Colorado is open to all ages, and kids 12 and under attend free. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate.

Why: Hemp truly is a miracle plant, and if you like smoking the psychoactive variety of cannabis, learning about hemp will give you a whole new perspective on this awesome plant and the many economic, environmental, and health benefits it can provide.
Since 1974, the Colorado Invitational Bong-a-thon has been celebrating marijuana as America's oldest 420 events. Individuals and teams will compete in all sorts of bong-related competitions, from relay competitions to see which group can smoke a quarter the quickest, who can finish a gram the quickest, and which five-person team can clear a hooka of a whole ounce of cannabis. This year's event features outdoor camping, but RVs and tents are welcome. Tickets start at $90 and pre-registration is required as this is an invitational event. They keep their location under tight wraps until close til the festival, so register early and stay tuned.
