NYE Denver 2018: CannaSaver and New Year’s Eve on the Rocks

Are you looking for fun 2018 NYE events in Denver? CannaSaver is sponsoring the biggest 420 New Year’s Eve party Denver has seen in a very long time! A New Year’s Eve concert at Red Rocks featuring some of today’s hottest names in hip hop, New Year’s Eve on the Rocks is without a doubt the place to be in Denver on NYE 2018. For something exciting and different to do this New Year’s Eve in Denver, this event is hard to beat as it’s the first New Year’s Eve bash ever to be held at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre concert venue.

CannaSaver is best known for saving you money with the best dispensary deals, so you might be wondering what we’re doing sponsoring a concert. The truth is that while CannaSaver is all about saving you money at your local dispensary, the end effect is that we help you to have more fun, because we’re firm believers in having fun! So when the opportunity arose to sponsor the first ever New Year’s eve concert at Red Rocks, it seemed like exactly the sort of thing we go for around here.

New Year’s Eve on the Rocks is a hip hop music fest taking place in Denver NYE 12/31/17. Headlining the concert is hip hop artist Migos, whose hit song “Bad and Boujee” was the third most streamed song of 2017 with over 477,000,000 views on Youtube. Migos concert in NYC last January sold out in just fifteen minutes, and his second album Culture debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Also performing at the concert is Lil’ Yachty, who made the top five of the Billboard charts with the debut album Teenage Emotions. Post Malone, Dizzy Wright, Young Thug, Mailman, Jairon, Cassidy, Splyt, and King Green of RDGLDGRN will also take the stage.

If you haven’t been to a concert at Red Rocks, you really don’t know what you’re missing. Red Rocks is not only one of the best places to see a concert in Denver, it’s one of the best places to see a concert in the entire world. The only naturally occurring amphitheatre with perfect acoustics on the face of the earth, the Red Rocks concert venue has hosted hundreds of legendary acts over the years including the Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, and U2. Since 1906, nearly 2850 shows have been held at Red Rocks, but remarkably there has never before been a concert held there on New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Eve on the Rocks is the first ever celebration of its kind to take place at the historic venue, so everyone there will be a part of making music history. This is destined to be a truly amazing Denver New Year’s Eve event, and who knows? It could very well become a new tradition!

The doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the show will run well into the night to ring in NYE 2018 in Denver with a little hip hop style partying. Tickets for this all ages Denver NYE concert will sell out fast, but the good news is that you can even do a payment plan through Red Rocks or AXS to pay off your tickets before the event. Eighty-eight percent of all concerts at Red Rocks sell out, and seeing as this is the first ever New Year’s Eve concert held there, you had better not delay on getting tickets if you don’t want to miss out!

As open marijuana use remains illegal at Red Rocks, the venue encourages concert goers to respect the law “by enjoying marijuana in private.” If you do plan to enjoy some private marijuana use before the show (and you have a designated driver, of course), be sure you take advantage of the NYE dispensary deals and discounts you can find on CannaSaver. From $100 Ounce Deals to cheap dabs and the best edibles deals in Colorado, you’ll find coupons for the marijuana products you want from dispensaries you know and trust on CannaSaver.

We’ll see you for New Year’s Eve on the Rocks to kick off Denver NYE 2018 in HIGH style!

Four Ways to Profit from Legal Marijuana

Four Ways to Profit from Legal Marijuana

by Melanie Marquis

Legal marijuana has grown into a hugely profitable and diverse industry, with Colorado recreational dispensaries alone boasting over 60 million in monthly sales. Dispensaries, cultivation warehouses, testing facilities, and marijuana-infused products manufacturers are without a doubt raking in big money, but opening such a business is no easy task. Application fees and licenses alone can run into the tens of thousands in Colorado, not to mention the enormous amount of red tape that must be successfully traversed. However, there are many other ways to tap into the cannabis market with lower start-up costs and a lot less hassle. If you've ever wondered how you might start your own cannabis-based business, check out these four ways “budding” entrepreneurs just like yourself have found success and profit in legal marijuana:

Marijuana-themed Arts and Crafts: From hand-blown glass pipes to custom-made bong stands, artisans and crafters are creating profitable products that appeal specifically to cannabis enthusiasts. If you're a creative or artistic type, this business might be right for you. Consider your interests and skill set. Do you enjoy painting and have a love of getting high in the Colorado Rockies? Perhaps you could paint mountain scenes on wooden boxes to create one-of-a-kind marijuana stashes. Are you good at making jewelry? There's a strong market for fashion and novelty jewelry featuring special detachable beads that double as pipes, lockets in which to tuck a bud, or hidden pins you can use to poke out a clogged bowl. Love to sew? Maybe you could make some cushioned bags to keep delicate glass pieces safe and snug. Identify your talents and brainstorm creative ways to capitalize. Homemade arts and crafts can be sold online, at local dispensaries and Head shops, and at many community fairs and festivals.

Professional Services: The marijuana industry is serious business, and these businesses require a variety of professional services just like any other serious business. Whether you're an accountant, lawyer, real estate agent, interior designer, copywriter, web developer, carpenter, cleaner, or a consultant, cannabis dispensaries and other big marijuana businesses could likely use your services. Specializing gives your business an edge over competitors, and with its unique needs and broad and ever-expanding customer base, the marijuana industry is a lucrative area of focus. Get to know the owners of your local herb stores, network, hand out business cards, and offer discounts or incentives for referrals to help kick-start your business.

Private Clubs: Private cannabis clubs that allow members to consume (but not purchase) cannabis on the premises are making money as well as headlines in Colorado Springs, Denver, and elsewhere. Such clubs charge a membership fee, and in exchange provide a safe place to chill out and enjoy one's herbs. The rules at these clubs differ and regulations are somewhat ambiguous, as there are currently no state guidelines specifically overseeing or licensing such clubs. Most operate under exceptions established for private clubs which allow indoor smoking at places of employment that employ three or fewer people and where access is restricted to members only. Some clubs only allow outdoor smoking or vaping, some offer food and drink, and some do not. Rules may soon become clearer and licensing requirements stricter, however, under legislation proposed by state Representative Kit Roupe, a Republican from Colorado Springs. The new regulations would establish a statewide system for licensing such clubs, and individual municipalities would be able to set their own additional rules and guidelines. It's unclear at this point what the specific licensing fees and requirements would be as the legislation is still in its draft phase, but it's likely to be a more affordable and streamlined process than it is to open a dispensary or cultivation facility. The proposed legislation is on the slate for the next session of the Colorado General Assembly which is scheduled to meet in early 2016.

Tour Companies: Cannabis-themed tour companies in Colorado and Oregon are offering tourists a convenient and fun way to check out the local herb scene. These tours may visit dispensaries, drive past cultivation facilities, provide information on local laws and weed-friendly establishments, offer tips for making the most of the legal weed, make pit stops at private cannabis clubs, connect travelers with 420-friendly lodging, and more. New tour operators are usually required to pass a criminal background check, obtain proper insurance, and meet other regulations and licensing guidelines that may apply at the state or local level.

These are just a sampling of cannabis-based business ideas that have succeeded, and there are many other business models worth considering. There is definitely money to be made in marijuana, if only you consider your strengths, do your research, consider your resources, and put your mind to it.

Best way to smoke weed in August, August marijuana events and best dispensary deals in Denver

by The Savvy Stoner

Summer is waning and August is here, which is a little bit of a bummer for many of us who face back to school time or dread the coming of colder weather. But for now, the sun is still shining in Colorado where there's always a reason to celebrate the season with some super dank marijuana. From August marijuana events in Denver and best marijuana deals to a diy apple pipe just right for this time of year, here are the savvy stoner's top tips for enjoying the best of the Colorado marijuana lifestyle before summer truly comes to an end.

Best dispensary deals in Denver for August

Medicine Man Denver and Livwell have the best dispensary deals in Denver to grab this August. Both Denver dispensaries are offering recreational ounces for $99. At Livwell, the deal is good for select strains, with typically one or two types available. The deal is good at all their locations including Livwell Broadway. At Medicine Man, the deal is good for any single-strain top-shelf ounce and they offer a wide variety of strains to choose from. For the best concentrate deals Denver stoners are heading to The Joint by Cannabis where you can get two grams of wax or shatter for $50, recreational or medical.

Best August marijuana events in Denver

If you're looking for an unforgettable experience and network opportunities galore, check out the CannaCatwalk The Fusion fashion show in Denver that will take place August 22nd at the Denver Performing Art Complex. The show features new and unusual cannabis product lines, vendors, entertainment, a party bus, and of course, fashion. There's also the Cannazaar going on which you can catch on August 14th at Cluster Studios in Denver. With performance art, theatrics, contemporary artists, food vendors, outdoor games, shopping, marijuana party buses, and more, the Cannazaar has a little something for everyone.

Best way to smoke weed in August

While the savvy stoner knows better than to give this kind of apple to the teacher, a homemade apple pipe is one of the most fun and festive ways to smoke weed in August. The first thing to do is remove the stem from a ripe, delicious Colorado apple. This stem-end is the end you will carve first, and once the apple pipe is complete, this is the end which you will place your mouth on to take your toke. Use a small paring knife or pocket knife to carefully cut around the core of the apple. Dig the core out carefully piece by piece, but take care to not remove too much. You'll want to remove about half of the core, so that the bottom end of the apple is still intact. Now turn your attention to the topside of the apple. You'll want to bore out a small bowl-shaped hole there, being careful to get close to, but not all the way down to, the hollowed out center core. I prefer to use the sharp end of a pencil for this, as it's easy to just poke in the pencil, swirl it around a few times, and you have a nice tapered bowl. Next you'll need to create a path for airflow between the bowl you just carved out and the hollow center. You need the hole to go all the way down to the hollowed out core of the apple, but you have to be careful to not make the hole too big or your weed will fall right through. If the hole is too narrow, you'll make your eyes pop out trying to get a hit. A toothpick is absolutely ideal, as this is just about the exact size hole you want to make. Just line up the toothpick with the middle of the bowl, and push the toothpick through carefully straight down and then up and out again in one smooth move. Now pack up the bowl and enjoy some apple-flavored marijuana.

Places to Smoke Near Me

Places to Smoke Near Me

Posted by CANNASaver on Monday, 30 May 2016 in Canna Blog

Where to smoke in Denver

You’re probably in the Denver area and are searching Google for “Places to smoke near me.” Well, you came to the right place.

While marijuana possession is legal in Colorado, public consumption remains illegal, with violators risking tickets, fines, and having their weed confiscated. The good news is there are indeed places to smoke weed in Denver, if you know where to go, and/or you know how to be discreet and polite. Basically, the word on the street is that if there's no one around to see you, you should be relatively safe.

While you probably don't want to risk toking up a joint in the middle of a busy city street, if you find a secluded space, a little dark corner somewhere or a hidden alcove amid some trees, or even an empty sidewalk to stroll along, as long as you're discreet and keep an eye out, you should have little to worry about.

Discreet Marijuana Products

First off, let’s talk about a few portable pot products that you can use, that are best for outdoor areas. You don’t want to be carrying a bong around with you, nor do you want to be holding a bulky weed grinder. Here are some better options:

Pre Rolls

Pre-rolled joints, which can be purchased at any recreational marijuana dispensary are a nice choice for travelers to Denver due to their unbeatable convenience, portability, and cigarette-like appearance.

Edibles

Edibles are virtually undetectable and can be consumed anywhere without drawing any attention. After all, you’re just eating, right? This is probably the best way to enjoy your cannabis while being outdoors.

One-hitters

Lastly, you can use something like a one-hitter or a dugout. Neither of these options draws a lot of attention as they’re easy to put away, so even if someone does smell the smoke, they’re not sure where it’s coming from.

Places to Smoke in Denver

While we don’t condone it, we understand that you don’t always want to be enjoying your cannabis within four walls. You’re probably like so many others in Denver, Colorado – you like to enjoy the outdoors. So there are some places to enjoy the fresh air while also enjoying some fresh bud

Avoid Parks

Most parks around the Denver area attract a lot of people, a lot of homeless, and, consequently, a lot of harder drugs. Parks are a little too public and crowded to enjoy your cannabis and there really are so many other better places to smoke than in a park. You’re either going to attract a lot of unwanted attention in these areas or you’re going to annoy those who don’t partake, so don’t be “that guy.”

Cannabis Tours

There are a few cannabis-specific tours that you can legally enjoy your weed while also seeing the sights that Denver has to offer. A lot of these tours are BYOC (bring your own cannabis), so check out a recreational dispensary before going on one of these tours.

  • City Sessions - This place offers a variety of tours, but you can expect to see Red Rocks, a few different neighborhoods, a grow facility, and a few other things. They offer private tours, so book ahead.

  • Loopr - Ride Loopr tour buses around town and experience Denver on a higher level. All sorts of tours and events are available.

  • Colorado Cannabis Tours - From classes, to karaoke, cooking and city tours, they offer it all. They even offer transportation to and from the airport!

Open Places to Smoke in Denver

While it’s still illegal in these open areas, these places to smoke are a little more 420-friendly as you’re likely to see others doing the same or not see anyone at all. Here are the best places to smoke near the Denver area, without anyone raising an eyebrow.

  • Disc golf courses - Yes, disc golf is a great outdoor sport and if you’re not any good, it’s a great excuse to smoke out in public without drawing a lot of attention.

  • Red Rocks Amphitheatre - While they definitely come out and say you shouldn’t partake in any marijuana smoking, sometimes the safest places are amongst the masses. Just be discreet and blow your smoke downwards because there is security that goes around to watch for smoke clouds.

  • Lakes - There are a few lakes in the Denver area that provide a lot of shade and trees, as well as open space. There are likely to be other people, but chances are that you will have enough space between you and them to partake.

“Baking” Around Bars

While it's technically illegal, many bars downtown do seem to tolerate smoking on their outdoor patios, as long as patrons are discreet. The bars can't openly admit that they allow it, however, so don't create an awkward moment by asking about it. It all depends on the crowd and the place, so poke around until you smell the sweet smoke, then you'll know you're most likely in a safe space that's 420 friendly.

If you want to get to know some friendly locals who might have further advice on where to smoke, where to stay, where to shop, or what to do for fun while you're traveling in Denver, both Sancho's Broken Arrow and Cheba Hut are downtown Denver bars known for their chill stoner crowds and laid back vibes.

When you travel to Denver, you'll find that this town is whatever you make of it. Denver is a great 420-friendly destination for the ultimate marijuana tourism adventure, but it's a lot of other things, too.

Whether you're traveling with children and looking for family fun, traveling with friends and looking for a party, or traveling alone and looking for peace and solace, there is truly something for everybody in the Denver area.

Whether you want to explore a museum, visit an amusement park, lounge at a coffeehouse, or dine at a great restaurant, you'll find plenty of options. However, it’s best that you partake in the pot-smoking elsewhere before getting to these places.

And if you want to experience Colorado while high on some of the finest weed our country has to offer, you'll know that smile on your face is fully legal.

Stoner Date Ideas

Posted by CANNASaver on Friday, 05 February 2021 in 420

Dear Editors,

I've recently started seeing someone, and while I genuinely enjoy our time together, our dates seem to be on repeat. Our weekends are dominated by lighting up and diving deep into video game realms at his place. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a good weed and game session, but I'm hoping to sprinkle in some variety.

How can I persuade him to occasionally swap the controller for an outdoor adventure while maybe still enjoying our shared love for weed? Any ideas for a weed-friendly outing?

Looking for a different kind of spark,

High-and-Dry in Highlands Ranch

________________________________

Dear High-and-Dry,

Haven’t you ever watched Scooby-Doo?

The problem with your partner is easy to solve. Just like Velma had to bribe Shaggy and Scooby with Scooby Snacks if she needed them to do her a favor, all you’ve got to do is use the right type of treats to tempt your boyfriend out of the house. Since your partner loves to get high, make marijuana a part of the date. Come up with some stoner date ideas, which really means, just add weed to any date!

Great 420 Date Ideas For Stoner Couples

The best date ideas for stoners involve marijuana smoking as well as plenty of relaxation and opportunities for creative fun. You don’t want the date to sound too complicated, and if your partner is the homebody type, it would be best to avoid large crowds – especially if you’re planning to smoke some weed on your date.

Have a Picnic

One idea you might try is to roll up a blunt and invite your partner on a nice picnic. Grass pairs well with, well, grass. Pick somewhere that’s secluded – under a tree or in the shade – so you’ll have some privacy, enjoy your meal in the sunshine, then blaze up your blunt. Or blaze first. Either way, you’re relaxed, you’re out of the house, you’re high, and you’ve got food nearby.

Go on a Hike

Nature is the best medicine – other than marijuana, of course. Let your wild side out. Colorado is a beautiful state that provides plenty of scenic, breathtaking trails and parks. Take a few joints out on a hike and smoke them periodically along the way or pop an edible at the trailhead. Bring some hammocks and enjoy the view with your honey, just remember to leave no trace.

Take a Tour

Enjoy a night on the town, tour-style. There’s a lot to learn about Denver that you wouldn’t otherwise learn than doing a city tour

Another good date idea for stoners is to take a marijuana dispensary tour at Medicine Man Denver, where you can visit their growing facility and check out the best strains they have to offer. Or, you might take a tour of a glassblowing studio like The Furnace Glassworks. You can watch artisans blow glass, pick out a new smoking accessory to purchase, then head back home or somewhere else private to try out your new piece.

If you want to really go all out and have the ultimate stoner date, book a tour or activity with Colorado Cannabis Tours. CCT offers many unique experiences specially designed to appeal to stoners like you and your boyfriend.

Cannabis can sometimes get those creative juices flowing and dates are best when memories are made. Create a memory together, whether it’s a class on painting, pottery, terrariums, or sewing. There are plenty of DIY/craft events around the Denver area to check out. Even some of them are pot-themed! If they’re not, perhaps bring an edible or two for extra creative inspiration. You could even try a steamy nude painting night of each other, which could be fun (and sexy around Valentine’s Day).

Make Some “Baked” Goods

Whether it’s an actual cooking class or just breaking out the cookbook at home, cooking as a couple can be quite fun – especially when weed is involved. You can even cook with cannabutter to mix the two! Flour, flower, and flirting can be the perfect combo for a stellar date night.

Photo Challenge Scavenger Hunt

This one is for photography lovers. Either take a scavenger hunt list from the internet or Instagram or try creating your own and take the cameras out! Don’t forget to pack some joints or edibles for a nice little high to give you a different perspective behind the lens.

Netflix and “Cheech”

Sometimes the best date nights are the ones in comfy clothes, a warm blanket, a nice, heavy-setting Indica, and a movie. Perhaps things take a turn for the bedroom, either because they escalate (hubba hubba), or that Indica hits too hard, but either way, you’re sure to enjoy this relaxing date night.

Gift Exchange

One great way to show your love and appreciation for your partner is to give gifts. Even better if they’re weed-related! Create a date night where you both exchange gifts and words of appreciation for each other. Tacky, but if the gifts are done right, it could be a date night to remember.

If all else fails, tell your partner that you need to go to the marijuana dispensary, and just happen to stop for dinner and a movie along the way. Or, tell him there’s weed hidden all over your body, but he’ll have to meet you downtown for drinks to get the details. Trust me, with the right incentives, your boyfriend will be lured off the couch in no time.

420 Friendly Colorado

Posted by CANNASaver on Wednesday, 14 April 2021 in Canna Blog - Latest News

April is here and weed lovers everywhere are getting ready for 420, which is arguably every stoner's favorite time of day, and/or year.

The phrase “420” has become synonymous with cannabis culture and with marijuana users all over the world. Cannabis enthusiasts usually like to smoke at the time of 4:20 or they use the term to refer to April 20th, the time of year cannabis-centered events and celebrations take place globally. April 20th is also known as “marijuana’s biggest holiday.”

420 is celebrated all over the world, but it is especially loved here in Colorado. With 420 just around the corner, locals and visitors are getting ready to celebrate marijuana for all its euphoric and therapeutic properties.

It’s important to note current health and social distancing protocols, as 420 celebrations might look a little different this year. Remember to be mindful of your surroundings and the safety protocols that are set in place, so everyone can have a safe 420.

Colorado, The 420 Epicenter

When thinking about 420-friendly places, you can’t help automatically think about Colorado. The state, being the first in America to legalize medical and recreational cannabis, is one of the largest cannabis hubs in the country, making it a great place for marijuana tourism and 420 events.

Colorado has been the home base for 420 celebrations and activities since 2014. Every April you’ll find numerous events that cater specifically to the cannabis community. This year, cannabis lovers are forced to celebrate a little differently but you can still expect there to be celebrations all over the state and in Denver.

In pre-pandemic times, dozens of festivals and major events take place in Denver and all over Colorado. The Mile High 420 Festival is one of the most popular and brings approximately 50,000 people to Civic Center Park. The festival includes vendors, music, and entertainment. Big-name artists like Lil Jon and Jermain Dupri have even made appearances. The festival is gearing up to return in 2022.

420 is not just limited to festivals, there is an endless list of cannabis cantered activities to partake in. Denver and Colorado are home to over 500 types of dispensaries and grow-ops.

Additionally, cannabis-centered tours are a great way to immerse yourself in all things cannabis, you can even learn more about your favorite strains and how they’re grown and cultivated while offering a safe and socially distanced experience.

What Does 420-Friendly Mean?

Generally, if a place or business is 420-friendly - it means that the person or place is accepting of marijuana users. It’s important to distinguish 420-friendly spots in Colorado from others because there’s still a slight taboo around marijuana consumption, so it’s best to be mindful of the places and people you encounter and the rules surrounding marijuana.

With progressive marijuana laws continuing to roll out, 420-friendly places are emerging all over the state and country - allowing cannabis users to consume their beloved plant with minimal discretion.

If you are someone with a medical marijuana card, the circumstances are a little different. It’s important to check in with your hotel or accommodation to see if they can provide you with a smoking room or a designated smoking area.

420-Friendly Accommodations in Colorado

In Colorado, marijuana laws allow hotels and private rental properties such as Airbnbs to individually decide if guests are allowed to consume marijuana on the property.

Many chain hotels are smoke-free, which means any type of smoking, whether tobacco or marijuana. Additionally, smoking/vaping cannabis is not permitted anywhere smoking is banned.

If you find a smoke-friendly hotel, they can accommodate your smoking needs with designated smoking areas or outdoor amenities such as patios and balconies.

Bud and Breakfasts is another option for those looking for 420-friendly accommodations. These are safe and legal accommodations for travelers who also happen to enjoy marijuana and want to do so openly on their trip. Some 420-friendly bnb’s even offering activities centered around cannabis, such as paint nights or cooking with cannabis classes.

Other accommodations allow you to smoke openly with minimal discretion like 420-friendly hotels. These accommodations allow visitors to consume marijuana openly..

If you want to smoke and be more discreet, it’s recommended to stick to vaping as they produce less odor than smoking from a joint, pipe, or bong.

420 Must Go On in Colorado

Despite roadblocks caused by COVID-19 this year and last, stoners all over the world are going to find their ways of celebrating. In Colorado, the options of activities and events to choose from are far from limited for both locals and visitors alike.

Maybe there's not much sharing of joints, pipes, etc, but no pandemic is stopping cannabis lovers all over the country from lighting up in celebration of the beloved plant.

Happy 420!

420 Friendly Getaways for the Holiday Weekend

Just Say No…To National Parks, Spend Labor Day Somewhere 420 Safe

Marijuana is legal in several states now, with several more sure to come in the near future.  But just because pot is legal in a state does not mean that everywhere in that state is a safe place to spark up.  Marijuana is still illegal federally, so that means that it’s still illegal on any federal land.  Now it’s pretty easy to remember that federal courthouses and military bases are federal land, but there is one kind of federal land that we all seem to forget belongs to big brother - national parks and recreational facilities.  These lands are the most fantastic examples of what America the Beautiful really means, and because of this, they are the ones we want to visit and get high at the most.  But take this word of warning from the Savvy Stoner to heart.  Do not be tempted to bring pot onto federal land this Labor Day weekend, or anytime, even if it’s dank and the cheapest weed in Denver and you’re only cutting through the park.  You could end up like tens of thousands of others who thought they could get away with it – at the police station, having no fun at all.

So where are some alternative places to enjoy your 420 friendly getaway, read on for some ideas to get you on your way to a legal and safe Labor Day celebration that includes memories that you want to remember.

State Parks

If your vacation plans bring you to Denver, or anywhere in Colorado, or the country, then state parks may be a great alternative to national parks. Every state has their own parks that uphold state laws, so if marijuana is legal in your state, then it’s legal in the state parks too unless it’s a park rule like no glass bottles.  And the choices of scenery, location, and recreation options are usually almost limitless.  In Colorado there are 42 state parks, with facilities in just about every nook and cranny of the state.  There is probably a state park within about an hour of where you are now, even if you don’t know it.  Many state parks are fairly unknown places, making the crowds much smaller than at more highly publicized places and making it much easier to rent a cabin, yurt, or campsite to enjoy your stash.  Remember though to always check individual park rules and always be private, discreet, and polite when enjoying your weed – it’s only right.

420 Friendly Hotels and Bed & Breakfasts

Finding dispensaries, even good cheap dispensaries is pretty easy in Colorado, but that isn’t always the case when it comes to 420 friendly lodging.  Many national hotel chains still feel they must abide by federal law completely and refuse to allow 420 friendly advertising; but some do still make pot users feel right at home by providing accommodations like outdoor smoking areas to make up for the fact that marijuana smoking of any kind is not allowed in the guest rooms.  If that sounds a little too iffy, then there are pot friendly hotels and bed and breakfasts too.  420 friendly hotel rooms often come with, or have access to, bongs and vaporizers to add to your awesome Colorado marijuana experience.  If a little more homelike and cozy is what you want, then maybe the weed friendly bed and breakfast is for you.  These are just like “regular” B&B’s with one huge difference, weed!  Not only is its use encouraged, it is socially acceptable too.  These weed-centric B&B’s are usually within walking distance or so from at least one dispensary with great dispensary deals, and generally really nice places to just kick back and chill.

Private Property (with Permission)

Private property, like the kind owned by people you know, can be one of the best places to spend any holiday weekend.  Parking is usually free, the rooms are cheap, the roommates may be weird – but they’re usually related to you.  Oh, and there are usually plenty of great cheap dispensaries nearby where you can buy all the great cannabis products you need to have the best holiday weekend ever.  Edibles, wax, shatter, butter or dabs.  Whatever you call it; flower, bud, chronic or dank.  Friends and relatives’ homes or vacation property can make for the best 420 friendly vacation destinations.  Easy to book, 420 friendly, and best of all, cheap.  Your next Cannabis friendly vacation, think of your friends and family when you think of affordable and pot friendly places to stay and save your cash for great deals on $100 ounces and so much more.
